Cambodia Extends Worker’s Rights to Adult Entertainment Workers
Adult entertainment workers, such as those who work at nightclubs, now have the same worker’s rights under Cambodia’s labor laws, reports the Bangkok Post.
Cambodia passed the regulation formally extending labor law protections on Wednesday, September 8. The labor and tourism ministries stated this action was part of their efforts to combat violence, sexual harassment, forced labor, and other related issues in the nightlife and entertainment sectors according to the Bangkok Post.
