Thailand Criminal Procedure Code Sections 69-70

Warrants of Search

Section 69 The grounds for issuing a search warrant are as follows:

(1) To find and seize items which will serve as evidence for the investigation. Inquiry into the cause of action or consideration;

(2) To find and seize items whose possession is an offense or obtained illegally or there is reasonable cause to suspect that it has been used or intends to be used to commit an offense;

(3) To find and help a person who has been unlawfully detained or detained;

(4) To find a person with a warrant for arrest;

(5) To find and seize things according to a judgment or court order. In the event that it cannot be found or seized by other means;

Section 70 A search warrants issued to find and arrest a person may not be issued, unless there is also a warrant of arrest for that person and the officer who will execute the search warrant must have both a search warrant and an arrest warrant.
