Law Schools Under Scrutiny
Law schools across the U.S. are under fire for offering incomplete or inaccurate information on job placement on their websites.
According to a report released by nonprofit research group Law School Transparency, “80% of nearly 200 accredited legal institutions offer incomplete, inaccurate, or even misleading job placement information on their school websites.”
Law school applicants are led to believe that post-graduation, high salaries and a myriad of job opportunities will present themselves. In fact, the number of law school graduates far outweighs the job opportunities available.
