According to Khao Sod English, a Thai medical student has joined the ranks of ‘dreamer’ immigrants suing the Trump administration over the DACA decision.
Jirayut Latthivongskorn moved to the US in 1999 as an undocumented immigrant at the age of 9. After spending years mopping floors and waiting tables to supplement his parents’ income, he is now a Harvard University graduate student.

He, along with six other people, is filing a federal lawsuit against President Trump over his decision to terminate the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program, which allowed undocumented immigrants who arrived to the US as children to remain in the country legally. President Obama introduced the program in 2012.
