Utah County Passes Law Protecting Second Amendment
Iron County, Utah, passed a resolution that would make any law that violates the Second Amendment “null and void” and “would have no effect” in the county. The “Iron County Second Amendment Protection Resolution” was passed unanimously, and is the second resolution of its type in the county. The first resolution requires the Chief of Police to support the resolution if a federal gun law was passed.

Iron County Sheriff Mark Gower said, “I will not allow anyone to come into this county and violate the Constitution of the United States or Utah. If I have to stand in the street and stop that from happening I would do it.”
