1/2550 Thailand Supreme
Court Opinion 106 (No. 1148) 2007 Although the motion stated that Chor was the damaged party, the motion included a statement specifying that the Thailand copyright was owned by Mor for the musical work based on the song “Older Brother” and Kor’s song “Lompae, Lompat, Mora, and Roytang.” A statement at the end of the motion stated that Chor, who was the damaged party, lodged a complaint with the inquiry official, referring to the Copyright Sales and Purchase Agreement, which formed a part of the legal proceedings. Clause 7 of the Agreement stated that Mor and Kor, owners of the copyright, agreed to permit Chor to lodge the complaint and authorized Chor as their representative. Therefore, Chor’s complaint was legally valid. |
