China Shuts Down Sex Doll Brothel
Chinese officials in Shenzhen province have closed down a silicone sex doll house of ill repute for violation of health laws. The silicone brothel “Ai Ai Land” had been in business for 2 year’s. Moral outrage from the public spurred the crackdown.
However, Chinese authorities were stifled because Chinese prostitution laws exclude non-human sex. Silicone doll sexual service is not a violation of Chinese prostitution laws. Therefore hygiene regulations were used as the reason to close the silicone sex doll playground.
Chinese criminal law imposes a 5 years be 10 years term of imprisonment for prostitution. However, the Thai criminal law is more lenient than the Chinese law. Prostitution is prohibited pursuant to the Thailand Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act B.E. 2539 (1996) and the Thailand Penal Code. According to the Prostitution Act, the penalty for prostitution is far more lenient than China.
In this regard the Thailand Prevention of Prostitution Act states that a person who associates with another person in a prostitution establishment for the purpose of prostitution of himself or herself or another person shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to a fine not exceeding one thousand Baht or to both.
So far there has been no news regarding silicone sex brothels advertising or operating in Thailand.
