Thai Officials Sold Burmese Refugees

According to the BBC, Thailand has been selling Burmese refugees landing on the coast of Thailand to human traffickers. Boats allegedly were being intercepted by the Thai navy and police, and then sold on to traffickers who transport them south to the Malaysian border.

Thai government officials said they are taking the accusations seriously and investigating.
