The 7th of December 2017 saw the opening of the annual Refugee film festival hosted by the United Nations Refugee Agency in Siam Paragon, Bangkok. The festival features six award winning films such as Ai Wei Wei’s “Human Flow” and Hollywood blockbuster “The Zookeepers wife”.
All films were donated to the festival in order to raise awareness about the lives of refugees, whether its crises happening today or 50 years ago as shown in “The Zookeepers Wife” during WWII. The film festival is a free event; attendees can head to the event’s Facebook page where they can reserve tickets.
